Focus on the Result

Master the Present Perfect Passive structures. It's not about who did it, but what has been achieved.

The Logic

Active Voice

The Doer

Subject has finished the action.

Sub + have/has + V3 + Obj

"The chef has cooked the meal."

Passive Voice

The Result

The action has been completed (the result is here).

Obj + have/has + BEEN + V3

"The meal has been cooked by the chef."

Rule 1: Have vs Has

Be careful! The auxiliary must agree with the new Subject (the Object).
Ex: I have written letters → Letters have been written.

Rule 2: Add 'BEEN'

This is the key marker. Insert been between the auxiliary and the verb.

Rule 3: Keep V3

Good news! The verb is already in the 3rd form (Past Participle) in the active sentence. Just keep it.
